What do you work with?
I develop our ElseWare product in projects for our customers. ElseWare is web-based so there is development on both the frontend and backend. I also develop background services and interaction with third-party applications.
What attracted you to work in IT Development?
I’ve always had a great interest in computers and how things work. I also like problem solving and after teaching myself some programming, I felt that this was something I wanted to work with.
What is ELSE like as a workplace?
I really enjoy working at Else. There are high ceilings and a relaxed environment. It’s easy to get help if you’re stuck on a task. This, combined with freedom with responsibility, makes it easy to combine an interesting job with family life.
What do you appreciate most about your job?
The freedom that comes with flexible working hours, good colleagues and responsive managers. Problem solving and the opportunity to constantly develop together with competent and friendly colleagues.
What do you like doing when you’re not at work?
I have two young children at home under the age of five, so I spend by far the most time with my family. But I also like to fish, hang out with friends when we play role-playing games, among other things.
If you were to recommend Else to a future colleague, what would you highlight?
A relaxed environment with lots of laughter and freedom with responsibility. Else really gives an employee the chance to develop both in knowledge, personally and on a professional level. It is a workplace where you can grow over time, while at the same time getting very nice and competent colleagues.

What do you work with?
I have the privilege of working with both feasibility studies, sales projects, and realization of sold projects to our customers. Right now, there is a little more focus on WMS projects for me, but I have worked a lot with automation and WCS before, which is also very fun.
What attracted you to work in IT / Development?
Finding solutions together with a good team is very fun and inspiring. As you know, time flies when you’re having fun at work.
What is ELSE like as a workplace?
Else is a workplace where we get quite a lot of freedom, but also a lot of responsibility. At Else, we have an open mind and short decision-making paths.
What do you appreciate most about your job?
Varied tasks and good colleagues. To be able to be involved from the first step in a project when you are looking for the best solution, until you reach the goal and see the result.
When you’re not working, what do you like to do?
I spend a lot of time playing handball and beach handball. I am the leader of Trollhättan’s women’s team that plays in division 2 and also the leader of the women’s team in Gothenburg Beach Handball Club that won the Swedish Championship in 2022.
If you were to recommend Else to a future colleague, what would you highlight?
That we are a really good team at Else where we have fun at work. We have a great deal of collective expertise and our customers are also very satisfied with the work we do for them.
